A continuation of our class "Learn Sashiko", in this workshop, you will learn how to draw and transfer patterns directly onto your own fabric and garments for Sashiko stitching. A major advantage of this technique is the ability to scale traditional designs to perfectly fit your specific project. We will be using a few simple tools to draft our patterns before we begin stitching on our pieces.

Materials: Garment or fabric to stitch onto, heat erasable pen, ruler, 2 colors of Sashiko thread, long sashiko needle, scissors, palm thimble (optional).

*Please purchase your supplies at Cast Away, we have everything you need.

Experience Needed: Some Sashiko experience (like a sampler or our "Learn Sashiko" class) required.
