Midori Hirose KAL

Join us for a fun knit-along get together!

What: What is a Knit Along? In the knitting world it's known as a KAL, and it's when many people are knitting the same pattern/theme at the same time, either virtually or in person. This KAL will be in person at Cast Away Yarn Shop.

Is This a Class? A KAL is not a class. If you feel confident in your skills and are fine learning from your neighbor, there is no fee to join this KAL! (Please buy your supplies at Cast Away though!)

When: Wednesdays, 4:00 - 6:00 pm, from August 27 - October 15

Materials: You are responsible to purchase the pattern of your choice from Ravelry. You should decide which Midori Hirose pattern you are going to knit and find appropriate yarn and needle for your project. 

Please buy your KAL materials at Cast Away. Be sure to get ready for the KAL before you come.  

Pattern: Midori Hirose has over 40 patterns published on Ravelry. It can be a sweater or even a scarf. Anything you want to make using her pattern. If you decide to make a sweater, it is a good idea to make your swatch before the KAL begins. Click HERE to see the patterns.

Yarn: Depends on the pattern of your choice - Cast Away has so many options. If you have any questions, please ask us when you visit the shop.

Our shop is up a small flight of stairs, if you need help with access please reach out 24 hours in advance, so that we may assist you by providing access through a neighboring business.
