Learn to Mend Denim

Bring your own denim garment and learn visible mending, using Boro and Sashiko stitches to patch holes , tears and reinforce worn areas of your textiles. Some scraps of fabric will be provided for patches, but feel free to bring some of your favorites.

Materials:
Embroidery hoop, embroidery needles and 2 to 3 colors of Sashiko thread. Please purchase your supplies at Cast Away and don’t forget your denim items. 

Experience Needed: Some hand, sewing or embroidery experience is helpful.
