Learn how to make a traditional granny square in one or two colors! These versatile little squares can be made into blankets, pillows, scarves, jackets, slippers, and more.
You will learn how to: read a pattern, double crochet, make a granny square in one or two colors.
You should already know how to: chain and single crochet.
Required materials: at least 50 yards each of two colors of aran or worsted weight wool or alpaca yarn, US H, I or J (5–6 mm) hook. We used Hedgehog Merino Aran in "Urchin" and "Truffle."
Please purchase your supplies at Cast Away. If you plan on buying your materials the day of the class, please come at least 15 minutes early.
