Dates: Sunday March 1 from 4:00 - 6:00
Materials: 4 colors of heavy DK or Worsted weight yarns: we recommend: Malabrigo Seis Carbos, Wool Dreamers Mota, or Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino. Color 1: 143 yards, color 2: 88yards, color 3: 44 yards, color 4: 22 yards.
The yarns listed above are available at Cast Away Yarn Shop. Please buy the materials in the shop. The pattern will be provided.
Experience Needed: You should know how to knit in the round with a circular needle, and be familiar with (circular) chart reading.
What you'll learn: How to knit with multiple colors of yarns, how to "catch floats", how to carry two strands of yarn, and about how to work with dominant/contrast colors properly.
Homework: With main color and size US 6 (4 mm) needle, CO 126 and join in the round. Work in 1X1 ribbing for 1.25".
