Let's make a granny square chicken with two granny squares!
Cost: $80
Materials: 2-3 colors of worsted or bulky weight yarn, crochet hook (3mm for worsted yarn, 4mm for bulky weight, 5-6mm to super bulky), opening stitch marker, darning needle, glass eye or safety eye 12mm (or larger for bigger size chicken), 1 - 2 ounces of stuffing. Experience Needed: You should know single, double, half double and treble crochet stitch, granny square experience a plus!
What You'll Learn: If you have never done granny square, you will make a simpler version of granny, otherwise, we will follow a more advanced (round) granny pattern. You will learn how to make a simple/fancy granny square, seam it together and make decorative stitches for embellishments.
