Learn to Knit a Two Color Brioche Scarf

Description: In the class, you will make a brioche scarf using two colors.

Learn the brioche knitting technique that has been so popular lately in patterns by Nancy Marchant, Andrea Mowry, Stephen West, and more. Brioche knitting creates a very lofty fabric that looks a lot like a fisherman's rib, but the beauty of it is that it's reversible! In 2 color brioche patterns this effect is exciting and impressive! And don't forget squishy!

Materials: A total of 200 grams (or at least 100 grams each, 2 colors) of worsted weight yarn and a size US 8 (5mm), 24" or longer circular needle. Please buy your class materials at Cast Away. Be sure to show up to class on time with materials ready or come early to shop.

Experience Needed: You should already know how to do brioche knit (BRK), brioche purl (BRP), yarn over, knit and purl.

What you’ll learn: Students will learn how to knit brioche stitches using two colors.

Homework: No homework, but prepare your materials before the class.
