Amirisu My Fair Isle Journey

My Fair Isle Journey is a collaborative pattern book with Amirisu's long-time friend and Fair Isle knitting instructor, Yuco Sakamoto. Yuco spent 25 years mastering and teaching Fair Isle knitting and has taught these techniques in various knitting classes. For this collection, she designed 2 sweaters, 3 cardigans, 3 vests and 4 accessories, all using traditional Fair Isle techniques. In addition to twelve knitting patterns, this book includes and overview of the basic techniques fir Fair Isle to get you started, and essay by Yuco, and photos of the Shetland Islands.
