Step up your knitting game and learn how to fix your own mistakes!
You will learn how to: unknit (or "tink"), take out more than one row ("frog"), pick up dropped stitches, fix twisted stitches, and put in a lifeline.
You should already know how to: cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and weave in ends.
Note: this class has homework to be completed before the class starts! See below for instructions.
At least 25 grams of a worsted or bulky weight yarn in a light solid color (no acrylic, no plant fibers), corresponding needles (US 9 / 5.5 mm or US 10.5 / 6.5 mm), corresponding crochet hook (US I / 5.5 mm or US K / 6.5 mm), and a darning needle.
Please purchase your supplies at Cast Away. If you plan on buying your materials the day of the class, please come at least 15 minutes early.
You will start two swatches to practice making and fixing mistakes on, one in garter stitch and the other in stockinette. It's okay for these swatches to be different gauges/yarns.
